That famous canal that begins with R

My very first time visiting Ottawa, and I walk on a bridge over the Rideau Canal, without realizing it. So beautiful, but cold, so cold – cold enough, in fact, to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. It was a brisk excursion from my hotel to a lovely Irish pub – D’Arcy McGee’s – a very lively establishment with a friendly crew and atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Made these images as fast as I could, as I returned to my room.
