I don’t believe I’ll ever grow tired of this spot on the Fraser. It’s about a five minute drive from my house. I visit here regularly and have for decades. When the girls were young, this was our fishing spot. I recently turned sixty, and they commissioned a local artist to paint the location – such a beautiful gift. I shall treasure it always. When their girls are a little older, I imagine we’ll bring them here to fish.

This morning was a little misty, I love the light this condition creates. The swans were a pleasant surprise. Preening their feathers and chasing after them as they floated away, as if they’d found some taste morsel!
